I became interested in learning more about Wet Markets and Covid-19. I found this video on Youtube. Diseases can be passed from one animal to another and then on to humans who eat them. It is thought that Covid-19 came about from eating bats in Wuhan, China. Dr. Li, from the University of Houston, is the expert featured in this video. He explains how the policy and laws that were enacted made it possible for Covid-19 to infect our world. I find the historical context important in understanding our current situation.
